What's new on DACE?

Solar system (LOSSy):

- New LOSSy tool.
- Samples are now daily imported and synchronized from LOSSy group.
- New sample search form is now available, with filters according to the name, date, temperature, publication, experimentalist and advanced filters.
- Sample data can be displayed in a more flexible way in the sample analysis module.
- Extra variables can now be added on charts.
- User can import samples locally.
- Data can be locally flagged as valid / not valid.
- URLs sharing for paper references.

Formation & Evolution:

- New search page with population selection.
- Optimisation of population loading.

Observations (Advanced search):

- A target list can be uploaded in the search form.
- Targets without DACE data but found by Simbad are available displayed in the results.
- Observability link added.

Observations (Ephemeris):

- New Ephemeris interface.
- Includes transit data.

Observations (Light Curves):

- Bugfix: Periodogram export button was not working.

Observations (Spectroscopy):

- S1D spectra be locally uploaded.
- The uploaded fits file names and headers are now displayed for Espresso DRS > 0.4.5.
- S1D and S2D spectra views can be unlinked.

Observations (Radial Velocities):

- KECK published data available.
- Detection and warning for undefined values in loaded models (from exoplanet tables).
- New "table" data visualization.

Dynamical Evolution (GENGA):

- Bugfix: In the animation view, select button was not working in Chrome and the text was not readable.

Charts:

- Bugfix: Legends were not displayed correctly when some series were empty.

Tools (Unit converter):

- New tool to convert units.

Tools (Statistics):

- New tool to compute some statistics on data sets.

Observations (Radial velocities):

- Binned data figures can now be exported.

Observations (Advanced search):

- The -Advanced Search- tool has been moved to the front page of the -Observations- tool.
- It provides filters according to the observations date, coordinates, observations types, instruments, programs and names.
- Multiple names can be set, separated by commas.
- The request can be resolved either by DACE or by SIMBAD.

Observations (Light Curves):

- Keplerians can be extracted from the BLS plot for any period.
- BLS, Modeling and Fit algorithms are now public tools.

Observability:

- Alpha and delta coordinates can be set manually.

User interface:

- You can ask for an access to a program of observation in your user interface.

Charts:

- Error bars can be removed on chart edition.

Technical:

- Reduce size of pages in terms of data loading (faster).
- Bugfix: Exoplanet table link with projects was not working for some planets.

- New interface including JS9 tool to display and analyse images.
- High contrast, Non-saturated and Signal-to-noise map display (only when data is available).
- Detection limits plot (only when data is available).

Spectroscopy:

- S1D and S2D spectra from the new Espresso DRS can be uploaded and displayed in a new section of the spectroscopy tool.

Exoplanets Table:

- Big improvement in data loading time (was particularly slow with Safari browser).

Technical:

- Bugfix: Browser cache is automaticaly removed on DACE update.
- Reduce size of pages in terms of data loading (faster).

DACE User Guide:

- New section: The DACE User Guide provides some tutorials for the DACE tools. You can access to the DACE User Guide from the user menu.

Observability:

- Bugfix: Bug report was not working.
- Bugfix: Time was reseted when changing observatory.

Spectroscopy (New Tool):

- New spectroscopy tool.
- New s1d and e2ds spectra average (In test).
- New interface for better visualisation.
- New link between Radial Velocities and Spectroscopy tools: It will filter the spectra that were measured during transit in order to compute the spectra average.

Light curves (New Tool):

- Display time series of published light curves.
- Box Least Square algorithm to find orbital elements.
- Light Curve model computation and phase folded binned data display.
- Fit orbital parameters using Nelder-Mead method.

Imaging:

- Bugfix: Fits headers were not displayed.

Charts:

- Bugfix: PNG export was not working.
- You can edit your charts after download. Export charts in .jvn file and upload it again in DACE using the "Edit chart" button from your user menu. Then you can modify it and export it again.
- New zoom options in charts: the "<<" button loads the previous view in the chart.
- New zoom options in charts: the "1.23..." button open a popup where you can change the chart boundaries.

Technical:

- Minor changes in the DACE design.
- Improvement of the website display on small screens.

- Bugfix: Fit heatmap was not changing with incidence angle.

- Multi-Sample tab is hidden if no more than 1 sample selected.
- Curves are displayed only after fit action.
- Possibility to fix parameters when fitting.
- Possibility to select / deselect curves for fit and display.
- Principal Plane only feature: Data analysis where azimuth 0° and 180° only.
- Smooth model export in ASCII file.

Observations (Radial velocities):

- Observations can be added in current dataset by uploading a file.
- New export files.
- Correlations coefficient.
- Ephemeris help with phase computations and links to Observability tool (Only for PlanetS members).
- Drift and offsets are now separated in two different windows.

Dynamical Evolution (GENGA):

- New GENGA version using General Relativity.

Exoplanets Table:

- New exoplanets table: Open Exoplanets.
- Daily update of the 3 tables.
- Data is loaded two times faster.
